SALARY: $125K-$135K, Annual

Major entertainment firm is seeking Senior Java Developers to help lead the architecture, design, development, and maintenance of its software systems. Duties will include:

• Establish, document and maintain requirements for the software systems
• Supervise the maintenance of software systems
• Plan, prioritize and monitor work for team members
• Plan and monitor the implementation, UAT and production release phases
• Create, refine, and evangelize processes and technical standards
• Weigh business and technical requirements to produce project plans and estimates

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong understanding of all aspects of software development; strong client, server, database, and reporting skills
• In-depth knowledge of J2EE applications in a complex environment:
  • Spring/Hibernate
  • Application Server (WebLogic preferred)
  • Web Frameworks, JSP or, Swing (Spring Webflows preferred)
  • SQL and entity relationship modeling (Oracle Preferred)
  • Ant / Ant Maker / CVS
  • IDE
  • Rational Rose
• Strong understanding of standard software development lifecycle methodologies
• Experience in data migration between systems and work flows
• Strong time management and multitasking skills
• Ability to handle changes in business requirements and priorities
• Business and negotiation skills to work with clients and business analysts
• Experience in managing small teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
