SALARY: Up to $160K, Annual

Major multimedia firm is seeking a technologist to join its interactive group that focuses heavily on new business development in the wireless and broadband space with new and emerging technology platforms. Duties will include:

• Manage IT staff including performance evaluations, resource allocation and project scheduling.
• Recommend, and manage application development vendors through all phases of the project life cycle, including SOW and contract negotiation
• Design and review project plans, timelines, estimates, and requirements documents
• Oversee software development projects with responsibility for project planning and control
• Liaise with business clients to evaluate business solutions and strategy

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years overall experience with internet/new media development and staff management
• Experience with internet/new media development using Java, J2EE, Oracle, Weblogic, ASP, .Net, Perl, PHP, SQL, Ajax, Flash/Flex, Ruby-on-Rails, etc.
• Experience in requirements gathering, use case development, determining business process flow and task mapping
• Experience with mobile and wireless development
• Thorough knowledge of SDLC and RAD are critical
• Outstanding inter-personal and communication skills
